the journal of the churchill society recommend this book warmly . i did find it very interesting..

i bought this book sight unseen.
it completely fails to give any useful information about
the house that you wouldnt get in much greater detail
in the national trust guide book. no floor plans, and no pictures of most of the
rooms as they are and used to be.
its better on the gardens.
the book however is badly written and edited.
somebody could/should do better.
the book on hoglands - henry moores house -
is much much better. this book is just another one
trying to make money out of churchills great name.
