3 out of 5 stars Great idea but...   December 20, 2007

Either not many places in Britain allow dogs or this guide just doesn't have enough information. Some areas are well covered but some have pitifully few entries (London in particular). Also many of the hotels listed say dogs are allowed in bedrooms only but must be accompanied at all times. How are you supposed to make that work? Hardly any B&Bs are listed
Good guides are generally excellent and this is a great idea but just needs to be more comprehensive.

5 out of 5 stars What a great idea   April 20, 2007

Just as the blurb says about hating to leave your pooch or put it in care for a week, I had the same problem. And you never know if they are being looked after properly. I have already been to a few places mentioned in the book, and all were pleased to accommodate us along with our pooch. What about one for cat friendly pubs, only kidding.
