Customer Reviews:
Again, typical Lynne Graham - formulaic, pretty hot, but not a keeper December 13, 2008 In the days when Mills & Boon novels were still kind of 'under the covers', Lynne Graham novels stood out with her frequent, descriptive and passionate love scenes. She created a tried-and-trusted formula that she has not varied since - poor, feminine, not very well educated downtrodden female lead who thinks she has nothing to attract a bloke, and a male lead who has the world at his feet, his choice of supermodels at his beck and call, but who once he sees the female lead, seems to think with 'his other head'. Yes, I do believe that it can happen, but for a male lead so blase and sophisticated to go so completely overboard in lust is a bit incredible. Like I say, it was pretty hot, not a bad read, but too 'same old, same old' to be on my Keeper shelf. Substitute any of the leads's names with any others from LG books, and you have the same story retold. I will still continue to buy and read LG books, but thank goodness for the resale market!
