A pretty good read February 1, 2005
I've enjoyed many of Lori Wick's books and found this pretty enjoyable too. I do wish that she had researched a little more into the language that WOULDN'T have been used in England in the early 1800's. Words like 'gotten' are rarely used today, let alone during the period in which the book is set and I found that it took something away from the story for me. Still a good read though if you can get over the foibles created by an American writing a story of this nature.
